Programming Department Our Jewish Cultural Programming

he Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life dramatically expands Jewish cultural programming in small towns and big cities across the region. Through our Southern States Jewish Programming Series, we help communities like yours to host events by authors, speakers, musicians, comedians, actors, and storytellers that will appeal to a diverse range of interests.

An example of one of our expense-shared tours: sixteen partners for an
eighteen lecture tour by Ron Wolfson.

Our partnership with the presenters, and the congregations and/or organizations who engage them is a win for everyone.  Presenters gain access to hundreds of southern audiences through the ISJL. Congregations are often able to partner with others in close proximity in order to share travel expenses.  The ISJL arranges all travel and hotel plans for the presenters, and provides marketing materials and press releases for the congregation.  We send presenter handouts, books and/or CD’s in advance if at all possible to facilitate a professionally planned and successful event.

For the enhancement of adult education, outreach opportunities, entertainment, fundraising and family programming, the ISJL offers something for everyone!
